- What did you do to your car today? On another website I frequent this is by far the most popular thread there. I thought I would try it here. Now guys we're not talking the daily driver or momma's car. Let's keep this specifically devoted to posts on our 71-73 Mustangs. Like usual no flaming, constructive opinions and commments please. I'll get it […]

- Remove broken ignition cylinderI have a 1972 convertible w/a 351 C (now 4bbl) and an FMX transmission (console shift). While attempting to adjust the shift linkage I needed to disengage the lock out lever. When I tried to insert the key, it wouldn't even go in half way. I bore scoped it and can see the tumbler has […]
- Wiring harness oddity.Hello, question for the group. The large green connector for the wiring harness on the dash side has a light green wire opposite diagonal corner of the plug from the big yellow power wire. On the engine side of the harness, there is a red w yellow hash wire it connects to. The engine harness […]
- Determine Value of 1973 Mach 1 With a 351M (Actually a 351C!)I'm thinking it's time to sell my 73 but as seen in the title it has a big negative. I'm not sure how to determine comps and was hoping you guys that know your stuff can give an opinion. Pictures of the car are below and a link to an album I created on here […]
- Replacing battery mount area of fender skirtWell, the title says it all. My original mention of the re[air for this area was using rust reformer, body "lead". That fell off when upon further inspection, there was too much damage. Then I had the idea of using fiberglass and spot putty to finish it off and at the mere thought of "fiberglass", […]
- More ripoff tactics from Speedmaster / ProComp Electronics / AT Racing WorldIf you ever considered buying parts from Speedmaster / ProComp Electronics / AT Racing World, please rethink your plans. Their latest is ripping off Broader Performance's C4 vale body, and even putting Broader's name on a Speedmaster product. They've been doing this type of stuff for decades, but this is a new low.

- Germy's Marti report & the Ginger seats w/upbeat cloth mysteryHere is my Marti report. Why do I have "1971 only" Ginger Seats with Upbeat cloth in a 1972 ? What are the odds that someone outfitted my car with upbeat cloth seats from a 1971 mustang ? If these really are my original seats, would that not be on the Marti ? There is […]
- Rear Power Window socket wiringDoes anyone have a picture of the rear power window socket wiring for a 71? The two rear power windows will go down, but will not go up. All the wiring diagrams I have researched do not match the wiring of the socket and I just can’t understand why a previous owner would change the […]
- RPM Rust Prevention MagicHave any of you tried this? I saw this on a recent episode of Graveyard Cars. The reviews seem to indicate that it works well, but not for very long. It would sure be nice to have a DIY treatment for bare steel parts to resist corrosion with something that doesn't involve paint. If you've […]

Of course it's NOT a black interior, that would be too simple. It's Avocado, and I plan to keep it as true to color as I can. So let the challenges begin... I'm starting with a […]
